(Have more fun by playing 5 hands simultaneously in the special version of Blackjack! Draw 10-Card Charlie to win automatically. Choose to split certain hands to increase your chance of winning! The dealer must draw to 16 and stand on 17.
This Blackjack game is played with 6 decks of 52 cards without jokers, shuffled at the start of each new round.
The object of Blackjack is to get a hand that totals 21 or is closer to 21 than the dealer’s hand without exceeding 21. Aces count either as 1 or 11, face cards as 10 and number cards at their face value.
You can play 1 to 5 hands in a game round.
Split
If the first two cards dealt to a hand have the same value, they can be split into two hands. In this case a second bet equal to the initial bet is placed on the new hand and additional cards are dealt to each hand.
If you split a pair of Aces, you can get only one additional card for each split hand.
If you have an Ace and a 10-point card in a split hand, it counts as 21 points and not Blackjack.
Insurance
When the dealer’s face-up card is Ace, you are given a chance to insure your bet against the dealer getting Blackjack by placing an additional bet equal to half of the initial bet. You can insure all your hands or only selected ones.
If the dealer has Blackjack, Insurance pays 2 to 1. If the dealer does not have Blackjack, you lose the insurance amount.
Double
You can double your initial bet before drawing the third card, but then no more than 3 cards can be drawn to this hand.
In the case where the dealers first card is a 10-point card and you double your bet, if the dealer then reveals Blackjack, the additional bet is returned to you.
Doubling is possible after splitting a hand.
